CEO and Founder
25 years of experience

Sheila has a passion for helping those who are less fortunate (which she realized over 25 years ago). As a compassionate citizen of Duval County, Sheila observed that there are numerous people in Duval and surrounding counties who are living on the streets with no permanent place to call their own. Sheila felt that God was calling her to action. Sheila appealed to God saying over and over, "I know I can't assist them all, but my prayer is for you to use me to make a difference in the lives of those that I come into contact with. Letting them know that there are Godly people in this world who care about them and their well- being."In 2012, God led Sheila to step out on faith believing on the word which says, "I can do all things through Christ because He gives me strength" (Phil 4:13 NCV). Blessing Others All the Time (B.O.A.T.T.) depends on volunteers along with contributions from public and private donors. By working together, we can carry out the word of God throughout His land!Sheila received 3 awards in 2019 which she is so proud of and she gives praises to God for ALL that she has accomplished.  During the pandemic Sheila became a Master Life Coach and a Certified Master Practitioner in Financial Capability (CMPFinCap)

I truly believe in B.O.A.T.T. and it's mission to serve others. Blessing Others All The Time is not just words but a lifestyle. I am thankful to be a member of this non profit and to witness the love expressed to the under-served and homeless community. I know that God is my provider, and a yet I do not take it for granted. I realize that life happens and the citizens we service could have and still can very well be me. We all have a story and none of us is exempt from being a paycheck away from homelessness especially more so during this pandemic. God continues to provide. My scriptures of faithEphesians 3:20 and Psalm 23:1

I chose to be a board member of this organization because of the love and caring for those who don’t receive blessings often. Blessing Others All The Time is done frequently and I am truly honored to be a part of them and the Health Care Ministry at Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church.

I have served as a volunteer over 12 years and have been a Board Member with Blessing Others All The Time, Inc., (B.O.A.T.T.) since it was established in 2012. It's humbling to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve. It is indeed a fulfilling service. I asked God to make me a blessing because it's always better to give than to receive.

Growing up, I demanded that everyone be included in my games. Whether on the playground or playing soccer, I was adamant that everyone, no matter who they were, were allowed to play with us. I stood up to a lot of playground bullies because I hated the idea of excluding someone, of someone feeling left out. Community was already a priority to me then, and I’ve always understood that teamwork, safety, and belonging are the strongest forces to creating community. As I got older, though, I saw more ways that people can be excluded. How can someone, deprived of their most fundamental needs, possibly feel the safety and belonging that was so important to me to spread? A community that does not take care of its neighbors with the least is not a community at all, and the same injustice that made me demand for everyone to be allowed to play drove me through eight years of volunteering at various non-profits. Restoring people’s most fundamental needs with B.O.A.T.T. is the perfect continuation of that mission to build a more inclusive community. With my experience as a teacher, multiple directors at Beast Mode Soccer, and as an active volunteer, I offer a wealth of on-the-ground, operational experience, including program fundraising, large-scale event planning, and mission implementation management. My drive to provide belonging for all my neighbors is what brought me to B.O.A.T.T. To be surrounded by like-minded, dedicated individuals that have the same mission is the environment that all should strive to be in. By serving others with love and assisting those that live on the streets or in underserved communities, we as a community can make a difference in the lives of those around us. We are all blessed to be a blessing to others.
